Vertu Fine Art Gallery: Past Event

"Found In Socorro", opening reception April 10th, ran through May 3rd

Photographer Don Boyd’s “Found In Socorro”, an intimate look at his home town, reveals many small things that, like small brush strokes, gives the larger canvas of this uniquely New Mexico town a richness much different than British adventurer George F. Ruxton’s 1848 description as a “... dilapidated brick-kiln, or a prairie-dog town ...”. This exhibit ran from April 8th through May 3rd. The reception, open to the public and featuring elegant hors d’Oeuvres catered by the Bodega Burger & Lounge Co., was Friday, April 10th from 6 pm to 8 pm.
